To help us raise money for our adoption, I have been selling my photographs and other handmade items at local art festivals. So far we have been in the Highlands Festival in Louisville, KY and Fringe Fest in New Albany, IN. If you happened to stop by our booth, thank you for coming by and supporting us! We’ve done really well so far thanks to the generosity of others and so far we have raised enough to pay for our home study. We have met people who have adopted, who are wanting to adopt, and we have had the occasional adopted person excitedly stop by to see us. It’s really sweet to meet kids who are excited to help us because they were adopted. 🙂
Our next stop is the Holiday Bazaar at Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, IN Saturday, December 1st from 9:00a.m. – 1:30p.m. I will be selling my photographs, hand warmers, t-shirt scarves and bracelets, and earrings and hair pins that I make out of polymer clay. We will also be raffling off a brand new Wii U! I am looking into other options in the mean time, but nothing is set in stone yet. I will keep you posted if that changes and send a message over if you know of any other opportunities in the Southern Indiana area. So wish us luck in these endeavors and come by if you can!
